Design Holmen: A small island of design

Carolina is a Toronto-based creative director with more than 18 years of global design and branding experience. Over the span of her career, she has worked in her homeland of Sweden, in Vancouver and New York, and spent six years as a senior designer for Bruce Mau Design in Toronto. With expertise in large-scale strategy and identity projects, Carolina led the branding of Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Films and Harpo Studios, the re-brand of the Santa Monica transit system, the wayfinding and communication touch points for Fogo Island Inn, and the brand and wayfinding for The Bentway in Toronto. Designholmen welcomes any challenge. Everything from a simple identity to more complex branding projects, art direction, publication design, wayfinding, wallpaper design and web sites.

Don’t hesitate to reach out, I’d love to hear from you.

I can’t speak highly enough of our experience with Design Holmen. Carolina completely captured the spirit we were after with our brand and we loved all of the concepts presented to us. Everything was delivered on schedule and Carolina went above and beyond helping us develop all our final pieces. We are over-the-moon with our final identity.

We worked with Carolina Soderholm to re-think the design and editorial framework of our Corporate Plan, CSR, Annual Report, as well as our 5-year Strategic Plan. Carolina and her team was able to transform traditionally corporate documents into something that looks and feels as dynamic, conversational and bold as Waterfront Toronto itself. In doing so she created documents that are more welcoming, engaging and easy to read at a glance – by anyone. These are projects to be proud of. Not only that, working together was an absolute pleasure and I would not hesitate to work with Design Holmen again.
