Public Work is an urban design and landscape architecture studio known best for their thoughtful designs that contribute to the quality of life and urban experience in the city. Here in Toronto Design Holmen has had the great pleasure of working with partners Adam Nicklin and Marc Ryan on The Bentway project since 2016.
The studio’s strategy was always to let the work do the talking and not spend much time on their own branding or web site. But with 10 years in business it was time to update the look and feel, and to create a web site properly showcased their work. The design brief was very straight forward: design an identity and a web site that always puts the work first. The simplest possible identity was created acting almost as a masthead to support the studio’s catalogue of work.
